In 2005, Sean Seay left his successful job at North Point in Atlanta with a vision to do something amazing. So he gathered a launch team and planted a church in Athens, GA. For two years, Sean worked to build this church while fundraising for short-term support until the new church became cashflow positive. Now today, more than 16 years after their first service, Athens Church is thriving as the largest church in the region.
But here’s the thing. The preparation and visioneering that led up to this launch had been 16 years in the making. So overall it has been 32 years of growth to this point.
If you have a long-term vision that you’re waiting to achieve, or you’re in the trenches trying to get your idea off the ground, or if you’re a leader with a long-term vision, this episode is for you!
